Ed Morse Automotive Group is looking for a service manager to join their team.


Responsibilities:


  • The Auto Service Manager is responsible for developing service operations, gross profit, and expense control.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a team of top Automotive Service Professionals while promoting strong customer satisfaction and building loyalty.
  • Handle customer complaints tactfully, promptly, and with concern for the customer.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by listening to customer concerns and finding the best possible solutions.
  • Generate and strive to increase labor sales.
  • Ensure that vehicles are being serviced properly while utilizing technicians efficiently.
  • Must be able to maintain a quality staff that meets and exceed training standards outlined by the manufacturers.
  • Supervise and manage the workload and schedules for all service employees.
  • Have a full understanding of job requirements for associates within the service department and how those jobs are to be performed.
  • Manage payroll and expenses to meet the changes in the business.
  • Ensure that the department and equipment meet required safety standards for a hazardfree work environment.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years, Service Manager Experience in the automotive industry is a must.
  • Strong customer focus including negotiation and deescalation skills.
  • Leadership ability to include demonstrated ability to develop team members.
  • Good automotive technical aptitude to work with automotive technicians.
  • Ability to learn and work with automotive software.
  • Successfully complete a preemployment background check and drug screening
  • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
