Your New Role

This position supports the on-going operations of the hosted ERP and EDI systems along with the implementation of modifications and enhancements to the manufacturing system ensuring reliability and currency for all company requirements.

As a System Analyst ERP you will

Support the activities of manufacturing staff in systems analysis, design, programming, and implementationSet the methodologies for program and system documentation ensuring system integritySupport staff for the iSeries network servicesMaintains communication tools such as phone systems, radios, paging and notification systemsManage the release of updates from the system vendorManage AS/400 network system hardware and software providing response times and availability to network usersManage the provision of off-hours user and system support at all times (24/7 support)Report any unsafe or unhealthy conditions immediately.

Attend training as required or as assigned.
Know the operating instructions for all equipment and processes where you are assigned.

Know the pre start-up inspection process, hazards, protective measures, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, start and stop procedures and equipment limitations.

What you will need to be successful in this role

Degree/Diploma preferred, or combination of certification in Information Technology, Systems Administration or Business Systems and equivalent work experienceExperience in administration of Windows 2012, 2016, 2019 servers, Windows 10 environmentAutomotive manufacturing IT experienceExcellent knowledge of electronic data interchange technologies (EDI), manufacturing systems, and manufacturing methodologiesCMS ERP SystemFunnelcloudIgnitionInventory managementEDI data, structures and methodologiesShop floor control to support data collection systemsMaterial requirements planning (MRP)Data structuresProgramming language technology
