- Receives inquiries from customers via phone & email and responds in a timely and professional manner.
- Receives inquiries from customers regarding products and services and refers leads on potential new accounts to appropriate Sales Representatives.
- Create sales quotes, freight quotes utilizing BOM costs, margin, NRE's etc.
- Processes requests for and forwards product samples and literature to customers and dealers.
- Maintains office records and performs such clerical tasks as filing, posting, tabulating, data entry, and sorting.
- Processes all orders both custom and standard.
- Prepares correspondence and sales recap and credit reports.
- Receives, records, screens, and processes or distributes incoming mail, phone calls, and documentation for all work to be performed.
- Coordinates activities in support of Sales & Finance Departments.
- Provides sales and clerical support to VP of Sales.
- Other duties as assigned by VP of Sales or President.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure a positive experience.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues quickly and efficiently.
- Stay up to date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.
- Proven customer service experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Company products and integration services.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal skills.
- Minimum 6 months Office or Customer Service experience.
- Ability to self-organize, plan and carry out Customer Service functions
- Proficient in spreadsheet, word-processing, and quoting software.
- Ability to produce accurate and thorough reports on sales activity, transactions.
- Must have the ability to complete assignments within time frame specified by Vice President of Sales.
- Must be able to interact effectively and cooperatively with employees at all levels.
- Must be flexible with work schedules and be available to work overtime on evenings and weekends, with or without advanced notice.
- Must be able to operate in a fast-paced organization and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

The ideal Customer Service Associate candidate will provide exceptional service to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to help customers with any questions or issues they may have. Receives inquiries from customers regarding products and services, processes requests for product samples and literature, maintains office records, provides sales and clerical support for department, prepares correspondence, sales recaps and credit reports, and attends trade shows as necessary. Also, prepares quotes, enters orders, coordinates freight quotes and timing on all shipments.
