Job DescriptionService Technician is responsible to learn to install, repair, and sell automotive equipment to Fleets, Automotive Dealerships, Industrial Facilities, Agricultural Equipment Cemters, Automotive Service Centers, Body Shops, and similar industries.
AES, LLC is an authorized warranty service center for many types and brands of equipment.Service Technicians must be able to use training and tools provided by AES and its vendor partners to properly diagnose and repair such equipment.
He must also be able to train users in the proper use of the equipment. Service Technicians use the relationship to create sales opportunities for new equipment. In addition, Service Technicians are responsible for collections on services and products they sell.
It is expected that a Service Technician will be able to perform an average of 2 to 3 service calls per day.
A minimum average of 1 service call per day will qualify the Service Technician for a base salary of $150 per day.
This base will serve as a Draw against commission, meaning that any commission earned in excess of the the base pay will be paid on collected sales.
(If commissions run a deficit against base pay, the deficit will carry over to the following month.)Service Technician must be able to meet scheduling requirements, giving priority to Warranty claims given by Vendors. Scheduling will be performed under the direction of AES home office.
