Responsibilities:

Security guards are responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of a company's employees, visitors, and associated property.
Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entryObtain help by sounding alarmsPrevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassersControl traffic by directing driversComplete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signaturesMaintain the environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controlsMaintain the organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements

Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques

Qualifications:

Valid Security Officer class G license issued by the State of FloridaMust have a valid FL Driver's LicenseMust have your own reliable transportationMust be able to work shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overnightProfessional demeanor and appearanceComputer knowledgeExcellent customer service skillsBilingual English/Spanish preferredMust have a SmartphoneAble to pass a background check with no felony convictionsAble to Work Overnights
