Responsibilities:

• Perform as a singer and small group cantor in a traditional church choir.
• Join in harmony with other singers performing hymns written from
• Potential for solo and duet performances
• Rehearse and prepare for performances, including learning new songs and practicing vocal techniques
• Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
• Dress code is choir robes (provided) and closedtoed shoes.

Qualifications:

• Sight read music. Preferred enrolled or graduated from college in music or vocal performance.
• Strong vocal ability with a preferred vocal range of Alto or Tenor. However, all voices are welcome to audition.
• Proficient in singing techniques, including projection, diction, and breath control
• Willingness to follow direction from our Music Director
• Reliable and punctual for rehearsals and performances

Requirements:

You will be asked to sing for holidays, weddings, funerals and concerts.


NOTE:
Accommodations are made for Student academic schedules, final exams and other outside performances.

$25.00 per hour
