Description

The Shift Supervisor position is a weekend shift at a custom rubber mixing business that provides internal and external customers with 45 million pounds of un-cured rubber across several industries from two manufacturing facilities in Lagrange, GA.

Responsibilities:
Leads all production related manufacturing operations across multiple plants on a 3x12 weekend shift.

The successful leader meets shift metric goals, adheres to policies and makes decisions focused on continuously improving safety, productivity, quality, and controlling operating costs.

The successful candidate is proficient in Microsoft Excel and Teams functionalities and utilizes LEAN methodologies to analyze plant performance and creates countermeasures when needed to correct underachievement.

Through training, education and retention-based activities, leads labor relations and team development to maintain the strongest team culture possible.

Collaborates with operations support functions including purchasing, finance, engineering, maintenance, quality, and human resources to ensure the value streams perform at their highest possible levels.

In addition to office work, this position requires working in a manufacturing environment where personal protective equipment is necessary.
This position reports to the Plant Operations Manager.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Skills:

5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience preferred.

Education:
High School

Experience:

4-7 years

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; 5+ years manufacturing experience required.
