    Position reports to department manager / supervisor. Duties include but are not limited to the below. Normal schedule hours are 1st shift 7 am-3 pm, 3pm-11 pm, 11pm - 7am Monday through Saturday.

    1. Follow all departmental safety rules
    2. He/She is responsible for setting up the inspection frame according to written specifications to achieve only first quality fabric.
    3. The inspector will creel, roll, inspect the cloth, doff the customer size roll according to written specification, and complete all pertinent information on product sheet.
    4. The inspector is also responsible for having all supplies needed for the particular style he/she is grading.
    5. He/She will be responsible for notifying the supervisor of any abnormal occurrences of stop-time and abnormal quality.
    6. He/She is also responsible for separation and handling of waste.
    7. The inspector will keep his/her work area clean and properly swept.
    8. The inspector will also be responsible for understanding all specifications for each style.
    9. This position requires teamwork. Associate is expected to participate in all duties.
    10. Assist in completing machine and department Preventative Maintenance procedures.
    11. Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Sr. Production Manager.
    12. He/She is responsible for all equipment issued to them.
    13. Tugger license required.
    14. Understands the environmental impacts and aspects of job-related activities. Follow established Valway and Milliken & Company guidelines concerning all chemicals. Comply with all Environmental regulations and Milliken Environmental Policies and Rules.
