YOUR NEW ROLE IN HERNANDO BEACH

  • Independently responsible for ensuring the development and localization of the seat module in terms of seat safety and component functionality
  • Technical development responsibility for component and module projects in the areas of seat and restraint systems
  • Development of solutions considering functional aspects, as well as costs and deadlines, in collaboration with relevant internal and external departments
  • Coordination with the "technical calculation" and "testing" departments in the context of functional development
  • Management of associated members in the area of passive safety
  • Compliance with agreed component goals regarding costs, quality, weight, deadlines, and processes
  • Ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality of suppliers
  • Compliance with all requirements and guidelines for passive safety, as well as current legal and consumer protection requirements in the field of seat development
  • Identification of conflicting goals, based on which solutions are developed and quick decision-making is facilitated

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Completed degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, plastics engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in the automotive industry in the areas of seat development, concept phase/verification/pre-series phase/series support
  • First-hand experience with OEM system environments and change
