FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR:


SUMMARY:

Help children acquire behavior patterns necessary for developing his/her maximum potential.

Work extensively with all persons responsible to help create an environment in the school and home most conducive to the child's normal development.

Efforts should be directed toward helping pupils discover themselves, including developing decision-making skills and assisting in dealing with every day problems that are part of human growth and development.


QUALIFICATIONS:


Certification:
Must have an Secondary Counselor Certification.


Knowledge and Skills:
Background or training in developmental guidance individual and group counseling. Knowledge of or experience with community agencies.


Abilities:
Serve all pupils grades. Help children acquire behavior patterns necessary for developing his/her maximum potential.


Education and Experience:
Masters in Education Degree in Guidance and Counseling (Elementary Certification and other licenses or legal credentials required).


Pay Rate:
$56,083-$90,959 (based on highest earned degree and years of experience)
