Job Description*******$1,000 signing bonus****** We are looking for a Certified Drug and Alcohol Professional who is passionate about working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness and drug and alcohol addiction.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with area treatment providers
· Provide assessment, early engagement, and referral to those clients with co-occurring substance abuse diagnoses
· Complete substance abuse assessment for all clients admitted to program
· Participate in treatment planning with clients with substance abuse related goals
· Work with clients in obtaining needed resources and other general case management activities
· Act as member of the Individual Treatment Team for identified clients
· Regularly attend and participate in daily organization staff meeting
· Participate in on-call rotation as assigned
Requirements:
Full certification as an addictions counselor or a co-occurring disorders professional by a statewide certification body
· Experience working with adults with serious and persistent mental illnesses
· Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles
· Willing to work occasional evening and weekend hours
