The Strategic Account Development Representative supports the Key Account initiatives of our Heavy Construction Segment team & plays a key role in the growth aspects of the segment.

It also plays a key role in developing direct and indirect long-term revenue sources from targeted accounts.


This position is focused on the development of new customer relationships, helping the organization determine the best access points for delivering our strategic value message, conducts sales related visits and participate in demonstrations/tradeshows, helping coordinate efforts between internal and external stakeholders or participants in sales activities, and managing/mitigating conflicts between the stakeholders to achieve the established goals of success.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

Manages the field activities associated with sales and implementation of strategic accounts
Primary focus on identifying/engaging sales related activities with accounts for the purposes of creating corporate account agreements
This may include but not limited to ride-along participation, sales training/modeling, development of inventory demand plans, joint annual business objectives, attending tradeshows, and developing new markets or geographies of opportunity with the accounts
Responsible for all field sales operations coordination for the demonstration and implementation activities with the agreed upon accounts/projects/opportunities
Leveraging, engaging, and communicating openly with all company (including dealers as applicable) personnel allowing them to continue in their proper capacity in the relationship
Collaborate with management on the construct of KPI's for progress made against the establishment of new corporate accounts


OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 15 years' industry experience
Specific domain knowledge and experience with machine control and other construction technologies
Experienced in technology implementation with customers using mixed fleet technologies and heavy machine fleets
Strong demonstrated experience with the Heavy Construction technology on/off machine communications
Deep demonstrated knowledge and experience in heavy machinery operations and civil construction project performance
OEM Machinery Experience is a plus
Ability to think strategically about complex business scenarios and develop clear tactical plans


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Must live in the Houston, TX area
Compensation is base pay plus commission and OTE are approximately 130K- 140K
