    EXCEL AS A DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL AT SEVITA. IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL:

    • Experience the satisfaction of aiding individuals in their growth, learning, and well-being
    • Cultivate genuine and impactful relationships with those you serve
    • Receive trust and autonomy from your leaders to prioritize participants' needs
    • Initiate community involvement and enjoyment of preferred activities for participants
    • Assist participants in achieving developmental milestones such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition

    You will also provide essential support with personal hygiene and address behavioral challenges and other complex needs. If you possess traits of compassion, patience, and derive purpose from such work, a promising career awaits you at Sevita.

    YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO SEVITA:

    • Minimum age of 18 years
    • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (as per the program)
    • Team Lead Experience: Six months of professional exposure in human services, direct care, or care coordination required
    • Skills: Strong communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, time management
    • Qualities: Patience, compassion, reliability, responsibility
    • Vehicle: Valid Driver's license, access to a registered vehicle, and proof of insurance
