    Collins Aerospace is looking for a Systems Support Professional for Mission Systems in up and coming Cedar Rapids, IA which offers a perfect balance of small-town charm and big-city amenities.

    As a Systems Support Professional in our Mission Systems organization we offer an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation. In this position you will work within the Supply Chain Digital Tools and Processes organization, providing critical support and expertise. As the Service and Support individual, you will be the go-to expert within the Dossier framework, ensuring seamless operations and resolving any issues that arise with precision and efficiency. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of our digital supply chain solutions.

    What You Will Do:

  • Create and maintain relevant documentation to enable enterprise support staff to provide help and solutions to tool clients.
  • Interface with support personnel to create tier 1 knowledge articles.
  • Work with users to determine Root Cause and resolve issues.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and implement web-based solutions which range from simple to moderately complex.
  • Perform business analysis of systems and following through with the full development life cycle.

  • Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Experience in web application development, showcasing your ability to create functional and user-friendly digital solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven aptitude for teamwork, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, ensuring efficiency and productivity in all tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, enabling you to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Proficiency in documentation, demonstrating your attention to detail and ability to maintain comprehensive records.

  • Proficiency in .NET Framework and MVC architecture, enabling the creation of robust and scalable applications.
  • Strong skills in HTML and CSS, with a keen eye for crafting intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Experience in C# or Java, showcasing your versatility and ability to handle complex programming tasks.
  • Expertise in SQL and MySQL, demonstrating your capability to manage and optimize databases effectively.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the full Microsoft development stack, equipping you with a powerful toolkit for end-to-end development.

    This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. The Re-Empower Program helps support talented and committed professionals as they rebuild their capabilities, enhance leadership skills, and continue their professional journey. Over the course of the 14-week program, experienced professionals will gain paid, on-the-job experience, have an opportunity to participate in sessions with leadership, develop personalized plans for success and receive coaching to guide their return-to-work experience. Upon completion of the program, based on performance and contributions participants will be eligible for a career at RTX.

    The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
