SAFE MOTIVATED DRIVER TIME SENSITIVE DELIVERY

Hours: 5:30am - 2:00pm - Part Time


Summary
High performance, safe driver with the ability to adapt quickly. Will train vigorously on loading vans and "how to" deliver packages effectively.


Job description
This is a physical, outdoor position that involves continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh lbs. You will be loading and unloading vans for time sensitive delivery and pickups. In addition, courier delivery drivers must be people/customer friendly Smile


Requirements:

• Loading/Unloading preferred (But Will Train)
• Delivery Experience preferred (But will Train)
• Knowledge of Maricopa County preferred (We use GPS)
• Clean driving record preferred
• Background screen (No Substance abuse on record)
• Drive a 26ft Box Truck with air brakes (occasionally)

$ $19.00 per hour


Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Keep van clean
• Assure compliance with delivery and company standards/policies.
• Follow the provided schedule each week and be timely for deliveries.
• Report any issues with delivering to management,
• Provide friendly, highquality customer service.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have a clean driving record
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Minimum age: 21 (for insurance purposes)
• No DUI/DWI within five previous years
• No major preventable collisions within three previous years
• Maximum of two nonserious moving violation convictions or preventable minor collisions or any combinations thereof in a commercial or personal vehicle within previous three years.
• No driver's license suspensions within previous three years relative to a moving violation in a commercial or personal vehicle
• Ability to think objectively on delivery procedures
• Ability to establish credibility, integrity and communicate verbally effectively
• The ability to work independently with little supervision
• Must speak fluent English
• Must be able to read a map/GPS
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
