    JOB SUMMARY

    The NCH Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) ensures alignment and coordination of all NCH enterprise level activities to achieve NCH's mission of "helping everyone live a longer, happier, and healthier life." The Director, EPMO Activation and Tracking, is responsible for defining and overseeing non-facilities-related project activation and tracking processes to ensure that projects meet agreed upon business objectives and align with the NCH strategic plan. The Director will drive assigned projects forward, through efficient and standardized guidelines and processes, helping multidisciplinary teams efficiently make data-informed decisions that align with the health system strategic plan.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Responsible for developing and overseeing all approved, non-facilities-related project activation and tracking processes to ensure that projects meet agreed upon business objectives and align with the NCH strategic plan.

    · Oversees and leads the EPMO activation and tracking team; provides resources they need to successfully complete activation and tracking operations.

    · In coordination with the VP, ensures EPMO project work advances the system-level strategic plan.

    · Develops and enacts project activation and tracking guidelines and workflows including but not limited to (1) standardized project activation tools (e.g., charter, workplan, key milestones, risk mitigation, dashboards), (2) alignment with functional areas (e.g., IT, finance), and (3) project documentation processes.

    · Continuously evaluates project activation and tracking guidelines and workflows to identify new opportunities to improve efficiency and alignment with strategic business goals.

    · Sets up project database; ensures the project database is updated on a regular basis based on EPMO guidelines.

    · Oversees and establishes effective communication plans and mechanisms between project owners and operational teams (e.g., IT, finance).

    · Ensures all projects (1) have a comprehensive handoff from the due diligence team, (2) adhere to standard project documents (e.g., charter, workplan, key milestones, and dashboards) and (3) follow EPMO guidelines.

    · Manages high risk projects including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring, and summarizing progress of project. Confirms deadlines and progress with project stakeholders.

    · Works with VP to convene needed committees and work groups. Establishes effective communication plans between groups.

    · Oversees project meeting schedules, helps creates agendas to drive desired meeting outcomes; defines and tracks project milestones and creates risk mitigation plans.

    · Oversees and collects deliverables and status updates prior to every meeting. Attends all project meetings and documents meeting takeaways, decisions, and next steps. Sends meeting recaps within 48 hours of the meeting.

    · Collects, analyzes, and verifies data related to assigned projects.

    · Stores verified data, meeting deliverables, and meeting recaps in appropriate SharePoint project folders.

    · Regularly prepares dashboards and status reports for leadership regarding status of projects to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and deadlines are met.

    · Notifies VP of any identifiable project risk, obstacles, or barriers to implementation.

    · Acts as knowledge expert for EPMO activities and guidelines, educating staff of other functional areas.

    · Supports the monitoring of the EPMO email and maintenance of the SharePoint site.

    · Supports efforts to submit EPMO performance reports and other ad hoc reports as requested.

    · Assists VP EPMO with additional ad hoc projects as needed.

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

    · Minimum of a bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or related field and with 10 years of experience OR Master's degree in healthcare, business, or related field and with 7 years of experience required.

    · Minimum of 5 years project or program management experience required; healthcare projects preferred.

    · Prior supervisory experience is required.

    · Knowledgeable of current trends in project management and project management tools.

    · Candidates may work onsite in Naples, FL or be considered for a virtual position. If a virtual position is offered, the candidate may be required to travel onsite up to 25% of the time.

    · Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

    · Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    · Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize based on deadlines.

    · Excellent attention to detail.

    · Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new procedures, processes, technology, and applications.

    · Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

    · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

    · Intermediate computer knowledge: Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and project management software.
