Your responsibilities:


  • For our company's customers, it is important that a SOMIC packaging machine can cover a wide range of products. Our systems can be converted for this purpose. This requires, among other things, the exchange of complex tools. Errors can occur during this manual process, which can lead to damage to parts in the machine. In order to ensure that a conversion has been carried out without errors, there are many different concepts that can be considered. These should be analyzed and implemented in this work.
The following tasks are involved in the creation of the work:


  • Technology screening of, for example, RFID and augmented reality solutions on the market
  • Development of a concept for localizing format parts
  • Selection of test hardware
  • Prototype construction of a solution for verification
  • Utility analysis and comparison of the developed methods
  • Development of an operating concept for a packaging machine
