GENERAL SUMMARY:
To assist in managing the inventory procurement process including product and supplies. Additionally, to support other supply chain functions and projects as assigned. Reports to the Supply Chain Manager.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Assist in managing the procurement of all product and supplies from pharmacy manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers
  • Support the checkin and location movement of all products and supplies to ensure compliance and security of inventory
  • Adhere to and support SOPs while striving for process improvement
  • Conduct cycle counts per SOP and business rule requirements
  • Reconciliation of physical inventory with perpetual inventory
  • Communicate inventory status to key stakeholders
  • Support relationships with external parties (pharmacy manufacturers | wholesalers | retailers | carriers)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Education/Training:

  • Minimum HS Degree, higher education is desirable
  • Eligible to participate and not excluded from federal or state health care programs, including but not limited to Medicare and Medicaid

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and recommend solutions
  • Detailoriented and ability to multitask
  • Repetitive standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, stretching, and reaching
  • Ability to handle a highvolume workload
