Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting process and peripheral analyses to continuously improve existing and new production systems (injection molding machines, tools, external peripherals) in terms of output, cycle time, closed cavities, and quality
  • Carrying out sampling of pilot/new tools until they are ready for series production (run & rate)
  • Conducting article evaluations with corresponding documentation
  • Close and transparent communication with the departments involved in implementing the sampling (toolmaking / design / automation / production / sales)
  • Documenting the conducted analyses, including implemented actions/measures and their results
  • Supporting all production plants of the group in increasing output and quality
  • Checking and potentially redefining all necessary maintenance measures and cycles
  • Documenting all tool and peripheral parameters as a basis for further actions or to produce production systems under optimal conditions in terms of output, cycle time, and quality
  • Other measures instructed by the supervisor (special projects, e.g. optimizing setup times, maintenance and storage of injection molding programs, etc.)
  • Conducting sampling and/or initial commissioning of pilot or series tools at all production sites of the group (deployment to be agreed upon with the supervisor).
