Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grinder to join our team.

As a Grinder, you will be responsible for operating machinery to grind, smooth, and finish metal parts according to specifications.

This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:

Set up and operate grinding machines to grind metal parts
Read and interpret blueprints to understand specifications
Use various tools and equipment such as lathes, milling machines, cranes, laser cutting machines, calipers, and plasma cutting machines
Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
Perform routine maintenance on grinding machines
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Experience:

Proven experience as a Grinder or similar role
Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes
Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting specifications
Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in grinding operations
Ability to program and operate CNC machines is a plus

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
