Stellenbeschreibung:
Für unser Kompetenzzentrum für Reaktionsschnelle Satellitenverbringung in Trauen suchen wir eine/n Ingenieur/in Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik, Raumfahrtsystemtechnik, Space Systems Engineering o. ä. (w/m/d) Space Systems Engineering.

Das erwartet Sie:
Der Bedarf an weltraumgestützten Systemen und deren Verwundbarkeit erfordern den Aufbau von Fähigkeiten, die das kurzfristige Verbringen von Satelliten - innerhalb von wenigen Tagen - ermöglichen. Responsive Space Capabilities beschreibt dabei im militärischen Kontext die Fähigkeit, Kleinsatelliten (bis ca. 500 kg) innerhalb kürzester Zeit bei militärischem Bedarf mit Nutzlasten auszustatten, gezielt in eine erdnahe Umlaufbahn zu verbringen und für Operationen zum Erhalt der inneren und äußeren Sicherheit zu nutzen. Im Kompetenzzentrum für Reaktionsschnelle Satellitenverbringung wird übergeordnet vor diesem Hintergrund die erforderliche Technologiebasis zur Erlangung der Responsive Space Befähigung über Technologiedemonstratoren sowie die langfristige Weiterentwicklung erforderlicher Schlüsseltechnologien aufgebaut. Die Forschungsaktivitäten werden im Kompetenzzentrum in vier Abteilungen (Startsegment, Weltraumsegment, Bodensegment und Technologiedemonstration) adressiert und umgesetzt, um dem raumfahrtsystemischen und holistischen Ansatz Rechnung zu tragen. Ziel des Kompetenzzentrums ist die Bündelung der Fähigkeiten der bestehenden DLR Institute und Einrichtungen sowie der Aufbau weiterer Forschungsfähigkeiten zur Umsetzung von Technologiedemonstrationen im Kontext Responsive Space. Die Abteilung Technologiedemonstration bildet die übergreifende Klammer und führt die Einzel- und Systemtechnologien in Demonstrationen und Anwendungen auf wissenschaftlicher Basis im Kontext relevanter Missionen zusammen. In der Abteilung wird außerdem die Missionsplanung, -durchführung und -nachbereitung durchgeführt. Zudem werden Methoden und Verfahren für die Realisierung von Missionen im Kontext einer reaktionsschnellen Satellitenverbringung erforscht und entwickelt. Ziel der Abteilung ist es, sukzessive nationale und europäische Projekte für den Themenkomplex Responsive Space einzuwerben und umzusetzen. Hierbei handelt es sich um diverse Projekte, die jeweils für sich gesehen einen eigenen Schwerpunkt verantworten. Zur Bearbeitung der einzelnen Projekte werden individuelle Projektteams zusammengestellt, wobei die Zusammenstellung auf dem jeweiligen fachlichen Schwerpunkt des Projektes basiert.

Ihre Kernaufgaben:

Forschung im Bereich Raumfahrtsystemtechnik (Space Systems Engineering)

Forschungsaufgaben zum Aufbau der erforderlichen Technologiebasis und Durchführung von Technologiedemonstrationen im Kontext Responsive Space

Fachliche Mitarbeit an der Erstellung der Gesamtkonzeption und Planung von Raumfahrtprojekten

Das erwarten wir von Ihnen:

Abgeschlossenes wissenschaftliches Hochschulstudium (Master/Diplom) der Naturwissenschaften oder der Ingenieurwissenschaften

Erfahrung in der Technik oder im Betrieb von Satellitensystemen mit Fachwissen und Erfahrung in einem oder mehreren der wichtigsten Raumfahrzeugsysteme

Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Systemdokumentation, Anforderungsdefinition, Testplänen und -verfahren sowie Betriebsverfahren

Starke analytische und organisatorische Fähigkeiten

Hervorragende Kommunikations- und zwischenmenschliche Fähigkeiten

Nachweisbares mündliches und schriftliches Ausdrucksvermögen sowie verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse (mindestens Level C1)

Bereitschaft zu regelmäßigen Dienstreisen im In- und Ausland
