Trainee for Railway Employee (m/f/d) in Operations Department specializing in Train Driver and Transport

What are your tasks?

  • You familiarize yourself with the rules of safe and smooth railway operations
  • You learn how to shunt, prepare and drive trains in regular operations and in case of deviations from regular operations in passenger and freight transport
  • You learn how to identify and fix vehicle malfunctions
  • You ensure that our customers reach their destination safely, punctually and reliably
  • You get to know and work in our operations control center, workshops, train attendants and other areas of the regional railway
What do you bring?
  • You have at least a qualified secondary school leaving certificate or a completed vocational training
  • You want to set new tracks for your professional future after 9th grade of secondary school or high school
  • You have technical and logical understanding as well as manual skills
  • You are skilled in concentration, reliability, teamwork and sense of responsibility
  • You are physically and mentally fit
  • Passing the medical and psychological aptitude tests for railway employees
  • Availability for shift work, as well as on Sundays and public holidays
  • Your German language skills in speaking and writing are good
