- Coverage analysis and letter writing; investigation; evaluation; reserve adequacy and timeliness; diary maintenance; management of defense and coverage counsel.
- Identifying and evaluating coverage issues, preparing coverage letters and analysis, retaining and managing coverage counsel through trial, and developing and managing strategy for complex coverage litigation.
- Claims presentations, both written and oral; obtain authority and/or formulate appropriate action plans on difficult claims.
- Attending arbitrations, mediations, trials.
- 7+ years of EPL and/or Commercial Liability claims handling experience
- Must hold an active Connecticut Adjuster's License
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience handling Employment Practices Liability claims, highly preferred
- Strong litigation management skills and ability to direct defense counsel
- $120,000 to $140,000+ annual base salary plus lucrative bonus plan
