Responsibilities:
CNC
- Make sure the machine is running at or above established CNC rates.
- Learning multiple techniques including hand trimming and scraping, polishing, attaching components, etc. to complete parts for shipping per job order.
- Packages parts, attach correct shipping labels, and label gay lords properly.
Forming
- Make sure the machine is running at or above established forming rates.
- Uses tools including heat guns and sonic gauges to maximize quality and production efficiencies, to meet established forming standards for production under general supervision.
- Identify defects by comparing them to samples to eliminate any blemishes, gloss level issues, chill marks, warping, or other material defects.
General
- Logs into all jobs assigned to.
- Read the Job Traveler and follow the requirements.
- Verifies machine has a signed sample and current parts being machined or formed match the sample.
- Assesses quality as required using test fixtures, measuring devices and/or visual observation.
- Sets up and uses a band saw to cut up and trim scrap to an acceptable size.
- Count parts accurately. Fill out Daily Management Boards properly.
- Ensure all paperwork is complete, accurate, and turned in at the end of the shift.
- Ensure information is entered into E2 accurately.
- Ensure the machine is clean and organized. Makes sure all 5S tools are in place and accounted for and old paperwork and labels are removed from the work area.
- Follow all safety procedures to create a safe work environment for all personnel.
- Abides by 5S and Lean Manufacturing
- Demonstrates continual improvement in quality and quantity of work performed.
- Other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Quality Control (QC) experience helpful.
- Mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as Employee Handbook, safety rules, and Job Travelers.
- Able to communicate effectively with other employees.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers.
- Able to interpret a variety of specifications and information furnished in written or oral form.
Pay:
$17.00 per hour

No less than 40 per week
