Job summary:
The Account Manager owns assigned accounts consistently meets or exceeds sales targets helps shape sales strategies through proactive relationship management strategic planning market insight Success in this role requires strong communication disciplined prospecting and a customer-first mindsetResponsibilities:
& Increase sales and gross profit by identifying add-on opportunities recommending complementary products services Respond to customer requests promptly professionally
Sales Performance & Business Development Meet exceed established sales quota through proactive selling pipeline management Spend at least 50% of time prospecting including cold calling developing new contacts opening new opportunities with both existing new customers Travel regularly meet customers face-to-face strengthen partnerships Follow weekly on quotes open opportunities keep deals moving forward
Strategy Market Intelligence Develop account-specific sales marketing strategies anticipate customer needs uncover growth opportunities Stay current products services industry trends regional market insights customer dynamics training research trade shows networking Provide market feedback related pricing products promotions competitor activity
