Experience
- Be able to read both traditional tailoring marks and alterations tickets.
- Must be able to press front of lapels and sleeve heads, pants press waistband and top part of trouser, mark the trouser crease at the bottom, press both legs
- Knowledgeable of pressing techniques for various weights of fabric
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Provide excellent customer service at all times, and make and meet tailoring deadlines
To succeed, you must:
- Have relevant tailoring experience, specifically with men's suits, including shortening working button sleeve cuffs.
- Have experience operating tailoring equipment such as, standard singleneedle sewing machine, industrial blind stitch, and any machine necessary to efficiently complete the product
- Good communication skills; basic conversational English to work effectively with others
- Be detailoriented, organized, have a friendly demeanor and a high standard of integrity

From $28.00 per hour
