Qualifications:
ASSESSMENT FACTORS
- 1. Executes total responsibility for all assigned contracts.
- 2. Execute appropriate contractual action to meet operational requirements. Ensure reporting on contracting operations to meet operational requirements.
- 3. Ensure standardization and communication of the processes associated with contract support requirements development, validation, and/or approval
- 4. Serves as a trusted business advisor to customer leadership to develop tailored procurement support.
- 5. Provides advice and guidance to peer and junior contracting personnel, organizational stakeholders, and leadership to produce accurate and complete, complex contracting documents.
- HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS
- 1. Demonstrates experience leading a complex source selection.
- 2. DAWIA Contracting Professional Certification
- This position is considered an Acquisition Workforce (AWF) position under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Accordingly, the position's occupant must be certified with the appropriate DAWIA certification based on mission requirements for the position. If the selectee does not currently possess the required DAWIA certification upon entry into the position, selectee will be given 36 months to achieve certification. This position requires DAWIA Contracting Professional Certification.
