    Description


    Our client, a leading Wisconsin engineering firm, is currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team.

    In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the design, engineering, and project management of mechanical systems for a diverse range of projects, including commercial buildings, higher education facilities, water and wastewater treatment facilities, military installations, and infrastructure systems.

    As a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE), you will lead and contribute to projects that make a lasting impact on the community.


    Duties and Responsibilities:
    Plan, design, specify, and oversee the construction of facility mechanical systems.

    Develop and implement industry-best design practices in line with departmental standards.

    Manage projects from initial concept to construction, ensuring successful completion of multi-disciplinary projects.


    Collaborate closely with project team members to seamlessly integrate mechanical system elements with architectural and other engineering systems, delivering projects on time and within budget while exceeding client expectations.

    Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering their professional growth.

    Engage in business development and build strong client relationships.

    Effectively manage and communicate both internally and externally, ensuring successful team and project management while meeting client expectations.

    Cultivate a positive internal work environment that emphasizes delivering exceptional services to our clients.

    Utilize your expertise in commissioning processes to enhance project outcomes.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.

    A minimum of 12 years of mechanical system design experience within the building and construction industry.

    Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).

    Proven project management experience on multi-discipline projects.

    Strong communication skills, both internally and externally, with a focus on exceeding client expectations.

    A passion for fostering a positive internal work environment dedicated to delivering outstanding services.

    Experience with commissioning processes.


    Preferred Qualification:
    Commissioning Certification.
