    Position Title: Mechanical Engineer

    Type of Position: This is a Full-time Direct Position.

    Position Location: Greater Milwaukee region

    Number of Position: Openings: 1

    Shift Requirements: 1st

    Position Overview:

    The position entails preparing final drawings based on engineering sketches and specifications, overseeing mechanical engineering projects, and occasionally supervising other engineers and designers. The role involves planning and organizing structural analysis work, developing test plans, and ensuring compliance with requirements and specifications. Additionally, the position requires modifying drawings as needed, utilizing computer-assisted engineering software, and possessing a comprehensive understanding of sales contracts to ensure project completion within budget. Professionalism, creativity, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with maintaining accurate documentation.

    Position Duties and Skills:

    • Engineering drawing creation, modifications, and preparation (CAD, technical specifications, supporting documents)
    • BOM and full system layout management
    • Mechanical technical lead for assigned project and tasks
    • Oversee work assigned to Mechanical Engineers and Designers
    • Plan and organize structural analysis work
    • Development of machine configurations and test plans and support execution, evaluation, and dissemination of results
    • Possess a thorough knowledge of sales contracts to execute project to critical project criteria along set timeline and budget
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high pace and sometimes stressful environment
    • Demonstrate professionalism and organization in structuring of assigned tasks and documentation and utilizing one's creativity to provide excellent communication with thought decision-making and problem solving
    • 3D CAD - Must Have - (Inventor preferred)
    • 2D CAD – Preferred – (AutoCAD preferred)
    • Experience with FEA and CFD – Nice to Have
    • Basic understanding of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics – Must Have
    • Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP Systems – Must Have
    • Working knowledge of compliance requirements (NFPA, UL, CE, OSHA, NEC) – Preferred
    • Efficient and clear engineering calculations – Must Have
    • Effective communication skills (writing, verbal, diagrams, etc) to and with technical and non-technical persons – Must Have

    Travel Requirements: 0%-10%

    Experience Requirements: 3 years to 5 years

    Education Requirements: BS in Mechanical or Structural Engineering is Preferred
