**Job Description**
The Partner Brand Purchasing Associate (PA) will be the primary resource for processing orders, processing promotional information and running reports to ensure our warehouses and IDPs have an adequate and fresh supply of Partner Brand product.
They will work closely with Supply Chain and warehousing teams as well as with external partners on improvement of inventory control, quality improvement, ordering, and receiving.
Incumbent will collaborate with other PB team members to ensure product supply is in place to support and optimize execution opportunities including service issues, voids, speed to shelf, incentives and customer approved distribution demands. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, monitoring and communicating with top Partner Brands.
The Partner Brands Purchasing Associate works under the general direction of the Partner Brands CVP.
90% Partner Brand Order procession
10% Cross Functional collaboration/communication
PA will need to support strategies that improve IDP operational excellence.
They must have a basic understanding of DSD execution opportunities & customer/retailer programming.
**Additionally, PA must:**
Support systemic improvements for Partner Brand POs
Review and update PB team on supply issues/opportunities
Hold Partner Brands accountable
Be able to collaborate, articulate and discuss and share product availability improvements
Look for opportunities to streamline and/or improve existing processes
**Scope of Responsibility**
This position has no direct reports. Typically has responsibility for 50+ partner brands

Minimum Bachelors Degree. Prior sales background preferably with a CPG company required.
