Experience:

• Previous experience in farm, garden, or landscape management required
• Knowledge of greenhouse operations and practices
• Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and repairs
• Basic math skills for inventory management and data analysis
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
• Pesticide Applicator's License and previous pest management experience
• Basic computer skills, MS Office.
• LANGUAGE SKILLS: Spanish helpful.
• REASONING ABILITY: High levels of problem solving & observation.

Must be able to reason through problems as they relate to the job.

• CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  :MUST have a Pesticide Applicator License.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Schedule, organize and complete the everyday tasks of the farm.

This includes overseeing proper irrigation and the timely and correct use of fertilizers and chemicals on a daily basis.

Monitor crops in all stages in order to provide quality plant material.

Organize, observe, and document culture trials of new and existing cultivars in conjunction with breeders, research staff and marketing to generate proper culture sheet data.

Help monitor and control the greenhouse environment, fertilizer and acid injectors, using greenhouse environment control computers.

Maintain high safety standards.

$75, $90,000.00 per year
