We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Farm Hand.

As a Farm Hand, your primary responsibilities will include the maintenance of horse paddocks, ensuring a clean and healthy environment for our horses.

This position requires manual labor and a strong work ethic.


Responsibilities:

Paddock Maintenance: Use paddock blade and other appropriate tools to remove manure and old hay from horse paddocks on a regular basis. Ensure paddocks are clean, safe, and free from debris.

Field Watering: Clean and refill water troughs in horse fields to ensure horses have access to fresh, clean water at all times. Monitor water levels and cleanliness regularly.

Stall Mucking: Clean horse stalls thoroughly, removing soiled bedding and manure. Replace bedding and shavings as needed to maintain cleanliness and comfort for the horses.

General Farm Maintenance: Assist with general farm maintenance tasks as needed, including but not limited to fence repair, and other manual labor tasks.

Communication: Communicate effectively with farm management regarding any issues or concerns related to the care and maintenance of the paddocks, fields, and stables.


Requirements:

• Previous experience working on a farm or with horses preferred.
• Ability to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Good communication skills.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform the duties of the job.
• Availability for up to 20 hours per week.
