Position: Underwriter/Senior Risk Underwriter

Location: Honolulu/hybrid

Salary: Up to € per year

Permanent position

My client, a leading company with Scandinavian influence, specializing in guarantees and credit insurance, is seeking an Underwriter/Senior Risk Underwriter.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analysis of (group) balance sheets and annual financial statements
  • Accounting according to HGB and IFRS standards
  • Attending customer meetings
  • Preparation and review of decision templates
  • Post-mortem analysis
  • Supporting restructuring cases
  • Internal project work
  • Analysis of industry, project, and country risks
  • Development of guidelines for practical use
  • Training in underwriting for colleagues

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of corporate financing and project financing of syndicated loans
  • Experience with (group) balance sheets and annual financial statements, as well as accounting according to HGB and IFRS standards
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Analytical skills and precise work style
