Job Summary:

As an IT Manager, you will support the overall operation of the facility through IT solutions and efficiency. Additionally, you will be responsible for IT operations in the absence of the Director of IT.

Duties And Responsibilities:

Foster an environment that embodies Bally's_Born to Entertain_philosophy by creating a funfilled, entertaining atmosphere
Enthusiastically promote Bally's customercentric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building longlasting guest relations
Manage the overall operations of the IT department
Oversee the overall functionality and efficiency of the company's IT systems
Ensure the security of data, network access, and backups systems
Identify problematic areas and timely implement strategic solutions
Audit systems and assess their outcome
Establish, implement, and enforce policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, Company initiatives, and organizational goals
Manage the department's budget, including capital expenditures
Select, train, and develop team members through education, training, coaching, and corrective action
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age or older
Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
Must have a fouryear degree in Computer Science, MIS, or similar, or a combination of education and experience
Must have three years of working experience as an IT Manager
Must have knowledge of all casino game rules
Must have excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and of computer hardware/software systems
Must have knowledge of all applicable gaming regulations
Must have expertise in data center management and data governance
Must have handson experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation
Strong organizational, planning, and supervisory skills are required
Must have open work availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Demands:

Frequently required to lift up to a maximum of 30 pounds
Frequently required to push, kneel, climb, stoop, bend, and twist, as well as reach overhead

Work Environment:

The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.

Bally's Chicago:

Bally's Chicago will be located in the city's River West neighborhood on the bank of the North Branch of the Chicago River, near the intersection of Chicago Avenue and Halsted Street.

The first phase of the new casino hotel resort is slated to cost $1 billion. It will include 2,700 slot machines, 95 table games, a suite-only hotel, with 100 suites. There will also be an outdoor music venue with space for 1,000 people.

The subsequent expansion of Bally's Chicago is projected to provide a total of 4,000 gaming seats with a new 400 room hotel, a 3000 seat indoor venue, and a 20,000 sq.

ft. exhibition space.

The permanent location will include a 3,000 seat theater, an extension of the Chicago Riverwalk, pedestrian bridge, six restaurants, a food hall, and room for 3,400 slots and 173 game tables.

The corporation has a plan to retrofit the former warehouse at the current Tribune plant in order to serve as a temporary casino while the casino is being built.

Bally's Temporary Casino will be located at 600 N. Wabash Ave, Chicago, IL 60611.
