Job Summary:
GFA Staffing is seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks in a warehouse setting.
This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge, the ability to assemble and fabricate items, and proficiency with forklifts and various hand and power tools.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the assembly and fabrication of products according to specifications
- Operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning tasks to keep the warehouse organized and safe
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge to understand assembly processes
- Ability to assemble and fabricate items accurately
- Proficiency in operating forklifts safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with various hand tools such as wrenches, hammers, and screwdrivers
- Experience using power tools such as drills, saws, and grinders
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Job Types:
Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay:
$ $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to Relocate:
- Holland, MI: Relocate before starting work (required)
