Work Description:
Support the Security and Installations Directorate (SI) Personnel Security Branch (SISP) through continuous evaluation activities and investigations.

The contractor shall conduct national security investigations in compliance with the Federal Investigative Standards (FIS) and the Security Executive Agent Directives (SEADs).


Required Skills and Experience:


  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • 7+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Working experience with Federal Investigative Standards (FIS) and the Security Executive Agent Directives (SEADs).
  • Must be able to successfully complete CI Polygraph examination.
Support (NGA Campus East (NCE) - Springfield, VA, and NGA Campus West (NCW) - St. Louis, MO):

The contractor shall conduct national security investigations in compliance with the Federal Investigative Standards (FIS) and the Security Executive Agent Directives (SEADs).


Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Collect, investigate; research, document, and forward to adjudications, all reportable information from employees and contractors within the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act (IRTPA) and Director of National Intelligence (DNI) mandated timelines.
  • Complete processing of all security reportable as defined with the triage plan: two working days for high risk, ten working days for medium risk, and thirty calendar days for low risk.
  • Manage issue specific interviews with all levels of personnel for resolution of security concerns and prepare accurate and quality reports of investigations with mitigating information.
  • Conduct allinclusive interviews with Subjects/Sources and take accurate notes.
  • Review requested records to obtain pertinent information, resulting in the resolution of security concerns that may have questioned Subject's judgement, reliability, and trustworthiness.
  • Knowledge and experience working in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and Scattered Castles.
  • Document, file, and maintain all actions in the PeopleSoft security system of record.
  • Collect, investigate, research, document, and forward to adjudications, as applicable, all adjudicative relevant information received through Automated Records Checks (ARC) and the Continuous Evaluation Program (CEP) for employees and contractors, in the SISP mandated timelines.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the thirteen Adjudicative Guidelines (SEAD 4).
  • Followup as appropriate to ensure timely action on all ARC and CEP events.
  • Adhere to nondisclosure agreements and Privacy Act guidance to protect and safeguard proprietary, sensitive, confidential, and classified information.
  • Clear and concise writing skills and positive, engaging communication skills.
