ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Contributes to team effort in a collaborative and supportive manner.
  • Assist with running machinery as needed.
  • Starts stops and feeds the machine and watches for imperfect operations.
  • Under direct supervision, performs simple and repetitive bench assembly of parts or components not requiring fitting to close tolerances.
  • Can complete fab tasks using bolts, screws, clips and other fastening devices.
  • Can complete work requiring simple bonding and installation of inserts.
  • Can perform simple soldering operation.
  • Can work from models, samples or simple diagrams.
  • Can use grinders and deburring tools. No caliper work is expected.
  • May perform elementary visual inspection
  • Meet standard production output requirements
  • Maintain clean and Safe work environment
  • Providien safety rules and procedures
  • Quality guidelines
  • Filing Out Production Reporting Log
  • Employee Efficiency of 85% or better
  • Works under close, direct supervision

WORK ENVIRONMENT


Carlisle Interconnect Technologies is a clean facility, housing different kinds of machinery, equipment, processes and chemicals which produce potential hazards in the work environment such as: ergonomic, chemical, machine point of operation, and powered industrial vehicle traffic.

These hazards are controlled through means of engineering controls, such as machine guarding, and administrative controls, such as safety policies and programs.

In certain areas of the facility, employees are required to wear Personal Protective equipment such as Hearing Protection, Safety Glasses, Safety Toe Shoes, and hand protection.


PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Clear ANSI Z87.1 safety rated glasses
  • Hearing protection, in specific locations
  • Ability to compile with JSA in specific areas

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on equivalent basis_
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two to Four years' manufacturing experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills (employee payroll information and time off request done via online system)

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • None

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

JOB SKILLS

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Will have 4 months to 1year experience in similar or like manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
