They are currently interviewing for an Executive Chef in Orlando to join their exciting restaurant concepts.

    PURPOSE

    Provides Back of House leadership at restaurant level. Directs and supports Back of House team to ensure the consistent execution of quality standards, operating systems, procedures, philosophies, and cultural icons. Researches and develops new menu items and daily features in keeping with the company brand.

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

    • Has a minimum of 2 years' experience in an Executive Chef management role (full-service salaried experience is a must)
    • Experience with Scratch Kitchens
    • A background in menu development
    • Strong Financial Skills
    • Possess working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS systems)
    • Demonstrates a genuine enthusiasm and warmth towards their guests and colleagues
    • Has excellent communication skills
    • Is self-motivated and competitive
    • Is driven to grow and develop personally and professionally while developing those around them
    • Can conduct a variety of administrative duties that maximize the efficiency, productivity, and organization of the restaurant and team members.
    • Passionate about supervising, coaching, developing, leading & motivating employees
    • Can establish, maintain, and enforce consistently high-performance standards
    • Can adapt his/her leadership style to a variety of situations and scenarios

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Ensure consistent adherence to ARP's quality standards, operating systems/procedures, and sanitation and safety regulations/ requirements Actively develop Sous Chefs, and hold Sous Chefs accountable for developing hourly Back of House staff to support the organization's talent pipeline and drive growth. Strong desire to coach and mentor aspiring professionals by providing well rounded training programs with opportunities to cross train positions and advance their scope of responsibilities
    • Experienced in hiring the best available candidates for each position, and in developing and managing a successful team through goal setting, feedback, and follow up.
    • Hands on management style, with the ability to manage effectively and motivate a diverse staff through clear communication of objectives and expectations
    • Flexibility and a willingness to jump into any role at a moment's notice
    • Certified and well versed in sanitation controls and auditing with the ability to train staff accordingly and hold them accountable to sanitation standards
    • Well-developed conflict resolution skills and strong interpersonal skills
    • The ability to take initiative with little direction and the ability to learn quickly
    • Well-developed organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines
    • Impact restaurant profitability through effective financial management
    • Assist New Restaurant Openings as needed
