Job Description: Maintenance Technician – Limited Service

Job Type: Full-time

Job Profile Summary:

As a Maintenance Technician at Spark Hudson (Limited Service), you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our guests and staff.
You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and general upkeep of the hotel's infrastructure.
Your dedication to the role will contribute significantly to the hotel's reputation for comfort and quality, leading to a positive experience for our guests and a conducive working environment for our team.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

- Guest Room Maintenance: Conduct timely repairs and maintenance in guest rooms, ensuring all amenities, fixtures, and appliances are operational.
Address guest maintenance requests efficiently.

- Equipment Management: Assist in the maintenance and repair of hotel equipment, including laundry machines, kitchen appliances, and fitness center machinery, ensuring they operate efficiently.

- Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and ensure maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and hotel policies.
Conduct regular safety inspections and mitigate potential hazards.

- Inventory and Supplies: Oversee the inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
Coordinate with vendors for essential parts and materials.

- Documentation and Reporting: Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and generate reports on tasks completed, equipment status, and improvement recommendations.

- Collaboration and Support: Work with various hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and provide technical support and guidance as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

-Technical Expertise: Proficient in maintenance and repair tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and equipment maintenance.

- Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills to quickly diagnose and resolve issues.

- Adaptability: Flexible, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to emergency maintenance needs.

- Communication Skills: Effective communication abilities for interacting with guests, staff, and vendors professionally.

-Experience: Prior hotel maintenance experience and knowledge in management of maintenance/engineering tasks are preferred.

- Certifications: Relevant certifications in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or related fields are a plus.

-Physical Requirements: Capable of standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, and lifting/moving up to 25 pounds.
