Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Music Teacher to join our team.

As a School Music Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and help shape their educational journey.

Duties:

Implement lesson plans and curriculum standards
Provide instruction on beginner piano, guitar, violin and drum.
Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote active learning
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
Collaborate with other staff
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and our office regarding student progress and any concerns
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

Skills:

Experience working with children in a daycare, tutoring, or childcare setting
Strong behavior management skills to effectively manage classroom dynamics
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
Passion for educating and inspiring students to reach their full potential
Experience working with students with special education needs is a plus
Background or interest in theater or performing arts is desirable
