Job Summary:
Fayo Bilingual is seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Program Coordinator. As a Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various programs and services.

This role requires strong administrative skills, experience working with individuals in early childhood and the ability to effectively manage relationships with clients and teachers.

The Coordinator's role will focus on our enrichment Programs.

The primary responsibilities of Fayo Program Coordinator will include the following:


  • Coordinate daily operations of the program, including scheduling oneonone and Staff meetings (coordinating timing and space utilization)
  • Work closely with teachers and other school staff (such as Directors, office managers) to obtain weekly lesson plans and ensure teachers have clear plans and appropriate materials to implement sessions effectively.
  • Develop enrichment activities (to be implemented by teachers) that further improve students' knowledge, deepen understanding and allow them to practice skills in the language.
  • With the support of the Director of Education, recruit, vet (interview), onboard, and supervise a team of 68 teachers.
  • Provide ongoing support to the Teacher team via regular team and oneonone meetings, observations, and training opportunities that enhance their skills as teachers
  • Understand the program metrics that need to be captured for program evaluation and support program evaluation and continuous improvements.
  • Attend and actively participate in team admin meetings
  • Send out monthly calendar and newsletter

Other responsibilities include:

  • Work with the Parent Engagement Coordinators to engage parents with regular communications and other supports
  • Substitute teach
  • Attend training regularly to stay abreast of best practices in early childhood programming as well as to meet funder requirements.
  • Make cold calls to Recruit potential clients for our program

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with Early childhood required
  • Minimum of conversational spoken Spanish, Chinese Cantonese and/or Mandarin highly preferred

  • Comfortability with working independently but also able to work in a team environment and willing to ask for help when needed
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience managing others, including providing training, supervision, and feedback to team members

This position's working hours will likely be 9am-5am or as needed and will require travel to school sites at least twice per week to meet programming needs.
Please note that all positions at our organization are paid positions. We do not offer unpaid internships.
