Atlantic Coast Hauling LLC is _looking for an energetic individual who has several years of work experience in the trucking industry and is ready to continue their career in a fast-paced, high-growth, intermodal trucking company.

_This person must be a _quick learner and adept at solving problems.

We are looking for a self-starter, someone who sees something that needs to be done and does it This person will have excellent communication skills which will allow them to work well with internal staff as well as customers.

Specific responsibilities include:


  • Answering and directing calls, taking messages, and making phone calls on behalf of the company.
  • Managing/Dispatching company drivers' schedules and routes on online port system
  • Schedule delivery appointments directly with customers for freight inbound/outbound
  • Check in delivery drivers picking up freight or delivering to warehouse
  • Completing paperwork related to shipments, such as bill of ladings or invoices
  • Help clients understand billing and charges for which they are responsible
  • Follow up on delinquent payments and resubmit billing as needed
  • Maintain accurate customer accounts, including billing addresses and contact information
  • Work with other office personnel to ensure smooth allocation of logistics operations
  • Evaluate invoices based on information from freight forwarders and brokers and company prices
  • Ensure accounts are uptodate and accurate
  • Communicate to the customer when issues arise with the payment or accounts are past due
  • Answer customers questions regarding billing and statements
  • Track and update current jobs in logistics management software "PortPro"
  • Completing assignments and projects according to instructions from supervisors.

Position Requirements:


  • High school education is required; Associates college degree or some college coursework is preferred
  • At least one year of previous bookkeeping experience is required
  • Person must be detail oriented and as they need to check and recheck their calculations before finalizing invoices and sending to clients
  • Investigative mindset to find causes of any discrepancies and make corrections accordingly
  • Strong understanding of business practices, documents, and accounts
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as professional demeanor
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Able to work independently
  • At least one year of computer experience is required, specifically Word and Excel and Outlook

Pay:
$ $27.50 per hour
