ReFocus Eye Health is seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Clinical Supervisor to join our practice The Clinical Supervisor will take on the management responsibility necessary for running a successful healthcare facility.
This includes supervising the clinical staff (comprised of ophthalmic technicians, and scribes,) hiring, and training new team members while simultaneously ensuring the facility is running smoothly.

- Oversee daily clinic operations.
- Take inventory and order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Assist in the hiring/training of new employees.
- Create new policies and procedures and ensure they make staff aware of new changes.
- Supervise staff and complete routine performance reviews.
- Ensure the healthcare facility is following healthcare regulations.
- Monitor and facilitate patient flow in the clinic and in the imaging rooms, working collaboratively with other clinical staff.
Facilitating patient care, working directly with staff and providers. Assisting with patient complaints and ensuring patient satisfaction. Works directly under the direction of the Practice Administrator.
Schedule:
M-F, hours vary.
Saturday morning possible on rare occasions
(Hours may also have a slight variation depending on when the last patient leaves)
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician/Scribe Certification
Special Skills:
- Proficient in administrative tasks, such as updating patient records and creating an efficient schedule.
- Strong interpersonal skills for talking to patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time well.
- Great analytical and decisionmaking skills
- Able to lead and motivate a team.
- Create weekly technician schedule
- Monitor and approve biweekly time sheets for clinical staff
- Work with practice admin, create and maintain yearly on call schedule, including incorporating physician's hospital call and associated changes
- Manage clinical staff PTO
- Handle tech callouts and rearrange tech staff as necessary
- Cover for tech staff in clinic when necessary
- Provide support to all locations and clinical staff
- Troubleshoot ophthalmic equipment/IT issues.
