Vacuum Instruments Corporation is looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at the corporate office in Ronkonkoma, NY.

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for diverse tasks related to the maintenance and support of the leak detection systems, detectors, and gas processing equipment engineered by VIC.

We are in search of an initiative-driven individual dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving profitability.

Support responsibilities in this position may involve domestic travel and working in various locations across the US as per business requirements. The selected candidate should be based at our Corporate Office in Ronkonkoma, NY.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site service and customer assistance during field visits.
- Assist with installations, repairs, maintenance, and testing tasks.
- Identify technical issues and offer appropriate solutions.
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs.
- Generate detailed and timely service reports.
- Document procedures and operations.
- Drive company vehicles safely.
- Adhere to all company protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with the technical team on outstanding matters.
- Understand customer needs and provide relevant recommendations and briefings.
- Cultivate positive customer relationships.
- Deliver product training to customers.
- Required travel within customer base (up to 70% after training, both on-site and local).

Pay: $36.00 per hour
