Description

We have an immediate need for a Logistics Coordinator to help us maintain our position and grow in the freight brokerage industry.

• Support supply chain portfolio management functions
• Act as an ambassador for Kaiser Logistics and its customer base
• Work closely with Accounts, Business Development, and Carrier Representatives
• Build, or assist in building customer orders in the CRM
• Collect and accurately enter all pertinent information into CRM
• Schedule appointments for shipments
• Assist with carrier setups, paperwork, and filing of similar documents
• Call all customers ensure Kaiser Service Level is being met or exceeded
• Help promote Kaiser companies to prospective or existing clients
• Answer inbound calls
• Track freight and provide timely updates to customers
• Accurately communicate all details to all involved parties
• Follow logistics procedures and processes
• Provide accurate and complete trip confirmations to primary and secondary carriers
• Bring forward new customer opportunities
• Work as a key member of the team on small to moderate projects as assigned
• Ensure customer satisfaction regarding pickup and delivery of loads and report deficiencies immediately
• Provide ongoing communication of service issues to all parties
• Utilize effective communication with customers and other employees to help diffuse situations when required
• Stay updated on Kaiser services and industry trends to help facilitate sales

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent (preferred)
• Excellent phone etiquette (required)
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills (required)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team (required)
• Sales orientation (preferred)
