- Daily counting and reconciliation of inventory
- Propose inventory adjustments for reconciliation and conduct analysis.
- Communicate with the Inventory Assistant Manager for improvement suggestions.
- Ensuring FIFO for inventory rotation.
- Notify the Assistant Manager of low product inventory.
- Assist with product movement, stock placement, and rotation.
- Identify and follow up on products on hold.
- Ensure physical inventory is in alignment with the operating system.
- Follow safety procedures and report dangerous conditions.
- Responsible for identifying, communicating, and facilitating the resolution of any inventory issues that arise.
- Evaluate and improve inventory processes and efficiencies in ordering by generating reports for both in-house and supplier personnel as needed/requested.
- Review historical data and analyze current information available to determine proper forecasting and ordering of product. The Analyst will procure all inventory for suppliers while maintaining targeted inventory levels/dollars.
- Perform housekeeping duties as required to maintain a clean and safe environment in the warehouse.
- Strong ability to train current and new warehouse staff on all inventory policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist other operations departments' operational needs when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 3 years working experience in inventory
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics management preferred or a combination of a degree and extensive work experience is preferred
- Experience with handling Shipping manifest/BOL
- Must be able to operate a standard forklift and pallet jack
- Experienced in WMS and SAP
- Proficient in Excel, Microsoft word, PowerPoint
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time up to 8 hours
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job DescriptionInventory SpecialistWe are a fast-growing startup organization seeking an Inventory Specialist to join our team as a key player in ensuring the accuracy of materials received, processing orders, and overseeing cycle counts. In this role you would ensure supplies, stock, materials, packages, and/or products are processed through the delivery and/or warehouse system efficiently and safely. The position is an onsite position, working Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with a one-hour lunch. The position is salaried, non-exempt. Any hours over 40 will be paid time and one-half.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including a laptop computer and cell phone. The estimated base salary range for the Inventory Specialist is $55,700-$61,000. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
