Description
The Client Intake Coordinator is responsible for coordinating client registration and communication as part of the Client Services team under the guidance of the Program Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Acts as a liaison between clients and LCAC.
- Works with Financial Assistance Specialist to provide appropriate resources to clients when necessary.
- Answers phone calls and assists walkin clients at LCAC.
- Assesses eligibility of clients and processes client registrations.
- Provides clients with clothing vouchers and coordinates with Thrift Store Co-Managers to provide this service to families.
- Participates in BacktoSchool and Holiday outreaches, including donations and distributions with other staff and volunteers.
- Assists with client checkin at food distributions.
- Sends weekly correspondence to clients alerting them of upcoming events and opportunities.
- Attends internal meetings with LCAC staff.
- Assist with maintaining Client Service's social media platforms.
Requirements:
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Communication Skills
- Experience working with immigrant communities
- Sensitivity when working with groups of different cultures
- Cooperation to work with a team
- Administrative skills
- Ability to multitask
- Social Media skills/creativity

Pay:
$49, $51,000.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
