Responsibilities:
- Greets customer and obtains customer and vehicle information and mileage
- Determines general nature of repairs needed and writes a clear description of customer needs on the repair order
- Points out other noticed repairs or maintenance for which the customer has a need
- Provides customer with estimated repair costs and anticipated time of completion
- Sends repair order to be dispatched and maintains contact with technicians throughout the workday
- Calculates estimates on technician found repairs and notifies customer of these needs
- Notifies customer when repairs are completed
- At pickup, reviews work performed and multipoint inspection results
- Answer phones, collect customer info and make appointments
- Other duties as assigned
Personal Characteristics:
- Outgoing and friendly personality
- Comfortable interacting and dealing with the public; Must have a professional appearance
- Comfortable handling multiple tasks and fulfilling several obligations at once
Education and Experience:
- Prior automotive experience preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Able to operate computer based systems
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Pay:
$ $40.00 per hour
