Full or part-time, E 13 TV-L, initially limited to three years

The position is to be filled as soon as possible. The regular weekly working hours are currently 39.5 hours. The position can be divided (part-time).

The BSZ provides IT-supported services for scientific libraries, museums and archives, especially in Baden-Württemberg, Saxony and Saarland.


You will work in a dedicated team in the management of the BSZ and in close coordination with your colleagues at the BSZ.

Your tasks

  • Development and implementation of concepts in the areas of recruiting, personnel management, further education and new work
  • Representation of the BSZ at job fairs
  • Support of the management and the staff unit in strategic and organizational issues
  • Planning, leading, controlling and monitoring projects and processes
  • Participation in the acquisition of thirdparty funding
  • Representation in committees
  • Willingness and ability to familiarize yourself with and take on other areas of responsibility
Your profile

  • Completed academic degree
  • Qualification for the higher service in scientific libraries or equivalent postgraduate qualification in library science, alternatively:
  • Experience in team or project management, management assistant or similar in the public sector (more than one year) in one of the following areas: science management, university administration, library, library network center
  • Affinity for strategic issues
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
