Brake Press Operator - Milwaukee, United States - Badger Technical

Description

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal materials according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine the correct dimensions and tolerances
• Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate measurements and angles
• Handle materials and load them onto the press brake machine
• Monitor the production process to ensure quality control standards are met
• Inspect finished products for defects and make adjustments as needed
• Package finished products for shipment or delivery
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating press brake machines or similar equipment is required
• Strong knowledge of tooling and equipment used in metal fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures
• Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently
• Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

$ $24.00 per hour


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
